Worth Their Salt--Linda Wiebe and Karen Melady--is a community arts group that believes in the celebration of community through collaborative art processes.

 

 

 

Far below our town of Goderich lies an extensive layer of salt formed by the evaporation of a prehistoric sea. The extraction of that salt has provided a livelihood in this town for over 150 years. Just as the hidden resource of salt has fed the town's commerce, the hidden personal resources of people of the community continue to support the community.
