What is a story dress? The answer will be on display at the Goderich Public Library when The Fabric of Stories exhibit opens Saturday, May 10, 2008. Beginning in February, local community arts group Worth Their Salt – Linda Wiebe and Karen Melady - will be setting out on another joint community arts project with Women Today of Huron after a second successful request for funding from the Ontario Arts Council. The Fabric of Stories is a multi-media project. Drawing inspiration from senior women’s stories, other Huron County women will combine their own stories and fabric work as a rewriting of local history.
